History
Established in 2003
Cornerstone Mission Project is a tax deductible 501(c)3, nonprofit organization serving the homeless, and those in need in Mohave County, Arizona. We provide shelter and food to our residents and food to the general public. We also provide clothing and showers to those in need.
Cornerstone Mission opened it's doors in April, 2003. A 30 bed shelter for homeless men and a place for hope.
We opened Diana's Faith House in March, 2012. A local philanthropist, Dr. John Lingenfelter, donated the house to us in order to open the homeless shelter for women and children in memory of his wife, Diana.
In November 2016 we added our Community Care Center and Thrift Store which provides services to homeless persons as well as provides second hand goods to the public at a very low cost. All proceeds from the store go to fund Cornerstone's homeless programs.
In July of 2019 we extended homeless outreach services and housing assistance to LaPaz County, AZ with a mobile team on a weekly basis.
