Thanks to AZDES and Current Housing Challenge

We were fortunate to receive grant funding from the Arizona Department of Economic Security to continue the good work we are doing (Shelter, Rapid Rehousing, Outreach) for the homeless population in Mohave County. We are grateful for our AZDES Team.

As I am sure you are aware, rentals in our area are very expensive and hard to come by. For the folks we serve, this presents a tremendous challenge. Most of our clients cannot afford a $900 - $1,000 rent each month on their own. Specifically concerning are those on a fixed income or Social Security. Some of our clients receive $400.00 per month, sometimes even less. We recently began working with the sellers of a facility that may help to house between 7 and 9 people.

We are praying for God’s guidance on this project and as we move ahead with His blessing, we will keep you in the loop.
