Pet Fostering: It is very difficult to separate a homeless person from their pet. If we have a family to foster their pet, for up to 90 days, we have a better chance at getting the potential resident to self-sufficiency, including housing.
The knowledge of their pet being cared for temporarily until they can be reunited with them is imperative to their path to self-sufficiency. If you are interested in pet fostering please call Cornerstone at 928-757-1535 x1002 so we can put you on our list.

Driver for our Women's Shelter: The ladies who stay with us at Diana's Faith House need transportation to pick up job applications or to return them. They also need to be dropped off or picked up from appointments.
If you would like to volunteer to drive a certain day of the week at a certain time, please let us know.

Other Volunteer Ideas
Skills and Projects
If you have a professional skill, area of special knowledge or even a hobby you would like to share with those we serve, please let us know. We welcome the generosity and creativity of volunteers with access to funding, and will gladly work with you to develop a special day of service or a time to teach your skill during the week. For example, some groups fund painting days, enabling us to renew hallways, dining areas and meeting rooms. Others have taught our residents how to make cards or to be creative writers, sharing their stories on paper. Finding a hidden talent, or encouraging a talent can bring great joy to the residents.
Host a Speaker
We are always looking for an opportunity to help the residents of our community discover Cornerstone Mission and Diana's Faith House. If you would like an uplifting presentation about the good work being done in Kingman, and the opportunity for you to participate, please call 928-757-1535 x1005 so we can schedule the opportunity to speak at your group into our calendar.
Host a Food, Clothing, or
Hygiene Product Drive
We rely on donated food and clothing in order to meet the needs of our residents. We gratefully accept food donations. Dry and canned goods are best, but we are usually able to accept even prepared foods, as long as it is fresh with the packaging intact. Needed clothing items are: Jeans (especially small sizes for men), sweaters, socks, underwear, shoes, warm coats, hats and gloves. We supply clothing to men, women and children. Depending on the seasonal temperatures the need changes. Consider doing a food or clothing drive at your congregation, organization, workplace or school. Any time of year is a great time to help the homeless. Please let us know if you’d like to plan a drive so we can get the information on our website and in our newsletter.
